For days we were sitting with sweaty hands in the shop awaiting the arrival of seven boxes. We've been using and abusing the samples for some time now and are very happy that the stocks finally arrived. Some of you have joined us on night dives with strange blue lights and wreck dives where Gigi made the dark disappear. No, it's not dive-gear... at least they're not primarily designed as dive-gear. Designed according to military and coast guards specifications, these lights have been run over by a 54 ton British tank on torture tests by the manufacturer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vf09Lolfwk).  Our own torture tests had me and Gigi standing, jumping on them and throwing them around with the only effect being a few scruffs and scratches. These sturdy lights are depth rated up to 1000ft and tested by Mark Ellyatt on his world record deep dive to 1032 feet (313 m)

Tektite lights from the US are now available at Pacifica Dive Center in Alabang.
